My name is Jordan Sosnowski. I work as an Incident Response & Detection Engineering Architect at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where I focus on malware analysis, reverse engineering, and detection engineering, and lead the team building our Cyber Security Operations Center’s AI-powered tooling.

I graduated from Auburn University in May 2019 with my undergraduate in Software Engineering, and went on to complete my Master’s in Cybersecurity Engineering in May 2021.

Outside of my day-to-day work, I ran Auburn’s Ethical Hacking Club from 2017 to 2021, first as President, then as Mentor, where I taught lectures on binary reverse engineering and exploitation and helped host CTFs including AUCTF19 and AUCTF20, the club’s first private and public competitions. I still guest lecture at Auburn occasionally when invited back.

My focus these days is still primarily binary reverse engineering, malware analysis, and detection engineering, though I’ve picked up a growing interest in cloud infrastructure and AI-powered tooling along the way, building out the automation and platform work that supports the analysis itself.

The purpose of this site is essentially a way of note keeping for me. But note keeping that could, hopefully, help other people! There will probably be mistakes in these posts and if you see any massive ones please email me so I can correct them!
